The Ostendo Continuum Development Roadmap outlines the planned evolution of Ostendo’s next-generation ERP platform. It provides visibility into upcoming capabilities, platform enhancements, and AI-driven innovation—helping organisations plan upgrades, align internal projects, and confidently invest in the future.
Ostendo Continuum is designed to evolve continuously, delivering new functionality without disrupting day-to-day operations—true evolution without revolution.
From January 2026
Roll-out of the Ostendo Continuum Edition
Ostendo Continuum becomes the foundation platform for future innovation, capable of running in the cloud or on-premise with modern architecture and enhanced user experience.
Key capabilities include:
- Native HTTPS deployment (Cloud or On-Premise)
- Introduction of the OHJA platform for Ostendo
- Enhanced and more intuitive navigation across the system
- Full BI Dashboard designer and viewer
- Integrated Process Models (SOPs) for procedure guidance and training
- AI-enabled Supplier Invoice & Delivery Docket importer
- Reckon One accounting integration
- Graphical multi-level Bill of Materials (BOM) Viewer
- Revised and enhanced Point of Sale (POS) using the new OHJA platform
- Process Traveler for work instructions and capturing data such as:
- Quality Control (QC) results
- Health & Safety (H&S) information
This release establishes the technical and user-experience foundation for all future enhancements.
From March 2026
Seamless AI Integration
Artificial Intelligence becomes embedded across workflows, automation, and information access—improving responsiveness and reducing manual effort.
Planned AI-driven capabilities include:
- Smart workflow processes
- Automated exception handling
- Natural language queries for data access and insight
- AI-monitored industry news and events relevant to your business
These features are designed to assist decision-making, highlight risks earlier, and automate routine tasks.
From April 2026
Snapshots – Reporting & Data Entry
Snapshots introduce a powerful hybrid approach combining reporting, interaction, and data capture.
Key features include:
- Smarter reporting tools for rapid deployment with full drill-down capability
- Ability to apply company branding (colours and themes) to outputs
- Email-based interaction with customers and suppliers
- Real-time data refreshing—similar to a secure portal experience
- Creation of simple web-based data entry forms for:
- Internal users
- External customers and suppliers
- Hybrid forms that combine reporting and data entry in a single interface
Snapshots enable faster engagement, better collaboration, and more flexible data collection.
From 2026 Onwards
AI-Enhanced Screens & Reports
Ostendo Continuum will continue to evolve through ongoing releases focused on AI-driven usability, analytics, and data accessibility.
Long-term roadmap themes include:
- AI-enhanced order entry and enquiry screens
- Streamlining and enhancement of all user interfaces where applicable
- Roll-out of distributed data repositories, enabling shared access to information without direct access to the core Ostendo system
- Continuous enhancement based on customer feedback
This approach ensures the platform remains modern, responsive, and aligned with real operational needs.
