MYOB release foreign currency to the MYOB API
This is the news that Ostendo clients who use foreign currency with MYOB have been waiting for! MYOB have finally released foreign currency to the MYOB API.
On 5th December 2019 MYOB released foreign currency to the MYOB API which now allows Ostendo Operations to post foreign currency transactions to MYOB AccountRight Live Premier. Here is a link to the announcement by MYOB about the release of foreign currency to the MYOB API.
Now that MYOB have released foreign currency to the MYOB API, the developers of Ostendo Operations have commenced developing foreign currency into the Ostendo accounting link for MYOB AccountRight Live. This is nearly completed and will require an upgrade of Ostendo Operations to the newly released update 238. The final functionality will be applied by an automatic online update and an announcement will be made when this is done.
Ostendo Operations clients who are still on MYOB Premier Classic and need to post in foreign currency should not upgrade to MYOB AccountRight Live Premier until the new Ostendo upgrade has been released. There is a process that needs to be followed to convert from the Ostendo accounting link for MYOB Classic to the Ostendo accounting link for MYOB AccountRight Live.
